Basically the error while retrieving information from server is due to the problem with the play store (settings might be invalid or some other issue with the play store) on your device. You can easily solve the problem with the following steps
Go to 'Settings' > Applications
Tap Manage Applications > Select 'All'
Scroll to Google Play Store and tap it.
Tap Force Stop > OK > Clear data > tap 'OK'.
Tap the Back button to get back to the applications list>tap Google Service Framework from the list
Tap Force Stop > OK > tap Clear data > tap 'OK'.
Now power off wait for few while and reboot the device. Try installing it. Now it should solve the problem.
Note: Please follow the correct sequence of force stop and then clear data in order to solve your problem
